Caramel Spine Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized cactus grows up to 57 feet (17.4 meters) tall. It splits near the top to form 4 thin stems. Each stem is caramel and orange, and is covered in brittle red spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with petals that are either white or brilliant red, with a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing after 6 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 23 petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like rotten egg.

The cactus's skin is thick, the pink flesh is leathery, and the black sap is thin and causes severe cramps if consumed.

It only grows on the most fertile lands.
It is suitable for making strong rope
The stems are covered in large spikes.
