Burgundy Grass

This large, burgundy grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The thick stalks grow in small clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, faded purple tuft.

During the early summer, it produces lots of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of medium-sized grains.
