Crimson Grass

This short, red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The perforated stalks grow in thin clumps that are light and frail and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, silver tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.
