Copper Creeper

This small creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 7 feet (2.1 meters) and growing as high as 839 feet (255.7 meters).

It takes 11 months for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The slender, pointed, leathery leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are olive and copper, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces lots of large white flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.
