Azurebrush

This big shrub grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for around 99 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous slender, straight stems covered in paper-thin, rough, pine-coloured bark, and the wood inside is light brown.

The branches are short stubs with dozens of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of giant, long, tapering, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are either azure, or brown with crimson streaks, tough and soft.

In mid-spring it produces hundreds of giant, light brown flowers with broad, flat petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are sturdy and have an intense scent that smells like meat.
