Blazegrass

Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized, orange-yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The circular stalks grow in large clumps that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, brown puff.

During the early summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of tiny grains.

It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
It is suitable for making paper
