Climbing Silvervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 44 feet (13.4 meters).

It takes 2 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and woody.

The very thick, sticky leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are solid orange or drab red, with bronze lines, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces thick bunches of small sky blue flowers.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for making paper
