Bronzeberry

This modest-sized caudiciform grows up to 70 feet (21.3 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is yellow, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible bronze spines. It has a crooked, thick, gnarled, lime trunk atop a stocky tripod of silky, exposed roots. The branches are stocky and burgundy and trail down to the ground.

The wavy-edged, perforated leaves are hazel with amber tips. They are flimsy, and easily come away when pulled.

It is slow growing, taking 49 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with each petal a slightly different shade of magenta grows at the top, reappearing once every 5 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 52 curved petals. It has a weak scent that smells like a man.

The caudiciform's skin is very thick, the washed-out purple flesh is soft, and the pink sap is thin.
