Bronzefern

This large shrub grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for around 44 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many knobbly, angular stems covered in smooth, light brown bark, and the wood inside is copper-coloured.

The branches are very long, thin and wispy with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of tiny, pleated, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are light brown and bronze, delicate and crispy.

It produces clusters of small, grey flowers with crescent-shaped petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a faint scent that smells like freshly washed clothes. In early winter it forms giantlight grey, tough-shelled seeds.
