Burgundy Vine

This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 41 feet (12.5 meters)0.

It takes 4 years for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The fan-like, leathery leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are white on the sides and silver at the center, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the bine produces thick bunches of large grey flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny fruits.
