Bronze

Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its emerald stems grow in bunches of 8 and are very thin and straight, and the tiny, black leaves are brown on the underside and are wispy with tattered edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Each stem splits 4 to 10 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with solid bronze petals decorated with black lines and a intense yellow central disk. The flower head is largely flat with 43 raised narrow petals. They fall easily.

It has a soft scent that smells like perfume, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.

It is suitable for making paper
