Bluetuft Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small, orange-yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The sickle shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are light and frail and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, ashy blue tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.

It is suitable for making strong rope
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is bio-luminescent.
The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
