This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In rainforests.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is very durable.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.

The grass is salty and slightly toxic and while grains are sour and non-toxic.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
