Copperbell

Flower type: Perennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.0 foot (30 cm) tall. Its copper stem is very thin, and the huge, moss green leaves are 5 pointed with toothed edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Lots of small flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with solid lime petals and a violet central disk. The flower head is shaped like a bowl made up of 10 widely spaced, narrow petals. They are hardy.

It has a weak scent that smells like faeces, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.


The grass is salty and extremely non-toxic and while grains are savoury and extremely toxic.
It is suitable for making strong rope
