Bluebell

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 117 years old. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several slender, straight stems covered in knobbly, dark gray bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.

The branches trail down across the ground with dozens of twigs that and are covered with copious amounts of miniature, perforated, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid yellow or light grey, with sky blue lines, resilient and clammy.

It produces large amounts of large, pink flowers with circular petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are hardy and have a powerful scent that smells like freshly washed clothes. In late summer it forms smallyellow, shelled seeds.
