Copper vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 38 feet (11.6 meters)0. It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 14 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are hard and brittle.

The stiff, pointed, leathery leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are pale red and turquoise, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a handful of tiny copper flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of large fruits.

It is overwhelmingly resistant to fire damage.
