Blueleaf

Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall and lives for around 47 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous long and flexible, wonky stems covered in silky, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is black with white speckles.

The branches are short, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of giant, wispy, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are brilliant yellow at the bottom and sky blue with beige splotches at the top, resistant and sticky.

It produces thousands of medium-sized, grey flowers with finger-like petals. They are hardy and have a scent that varies in strength that smells like wet dog. In early summer it forms smallcopper aril (seeds with fleshy covers).

It can survive a long time without water.
It comes in 2 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is suitable for making paper
