Bloodgrass
Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)This huge, blood red or bronze grass grows up to 16 feet (4.9 meters) tall. The very narrow and elongated stalks grow in sparse patches that are prone to bending and snapping under stress.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, crimson tuft.
During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of small grains.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
It commonly grows in large patches.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
