Blue Puffgrass

This small, blue grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, yellow puff.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
