Sunfire

Grass type: Perennial (Sheds its leaves in winter)

This large, orange-yellow grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in thick clumps that are rigid and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, pink tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces an average amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is suitable for making paper
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
