Emerald

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing large areas On trees, In rainforests, and On rotten logs.
It is large, growing up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is extremely frail; it dislikes being stepped on.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.
