Burgundy Vinegrass

This giant, burgundy grass grows up to 37 feet (11.3 meters) tall. The very thick stalks grow in small clumps that are strong.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, copper flower.

During the early winter, it produces lots of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few tiny grains.
