Burgundy Vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 203 feet (61.9 meters) and growing as high as 40 feet (12.2 meters).
It takes 13 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they each have a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are rough and prickly.
The fan-like, clammy leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are either pastel purple, or azure with blue patches, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the vine produces a handful of tiny red flowers.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
