Cream Puff Grass

This giant, moss green grass grows up to 40 feet (12.2 meters) tall. The very thin stalks grow in sparse patches that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, cream puff.

During the early summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
