Crimson Moss

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing small areas On trees, In marshes, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly rigid.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release dozens of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.

It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It is often home to a particular bird species.
