Olivegrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This short, green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, olive flower.

During the late autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of tiny grains.

It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
