Copper

This small flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its silver stems grow in bunches of 5 and are very thick with a curved tip, and the large, faded yellow and blood red leaves are thin with tattered edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Lots of small flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 2 cm (0.8 inches) wide, with alternating petals of blue and copper, with a washed-out red central disk. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals in raised layers. They are hardy.

It has a strong scent that smells like soap, and it has an average amount of pollen. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to butterflies.
