Citrine Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In bogs, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and can overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely frail.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release hundred of spores.
