Aquamarine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This large bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 150 feet (45.7 meters) and growing as high as 14 feet (4.3 meters).

It takes 3 years for the caramel or cream stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 10 inches (25 cm) and are rough and woody.

The asymmetrical, soft leaves reach up to 2.1 feet (64 cm) in length. They are solid aquamarine or purple, with sky blue lines, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the bine produces handfuls of large purple flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of tiny berries.
