Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 20 feet (6.1 meters)0.

It takes 4 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The thick, crispy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are a shade of orange-yellow that gradient shifts to olive at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of large yellow flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces a handful of large seed pods.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
