Silvervine

This average-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 154 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has several sturdy, curved stems covered in fine, silky, light brown bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches are long and thin with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of tiny, asymmetrical, leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are generally silver, resilient and waxy.

It produces thick bunches of large, faded blue flowers with circular petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are very delicate and have a fairly strong scent that smells like grass cuttings. In late summer it forms tinyaquamarine berries.
