Magenta

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) tall. Its olive stem is thin, and the small, blood red or magenta leaves are light emerald on the underside and are broad, flat with serrated edges. 13 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single giant flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide, with lilac petals on the lower layer and gold petals decorated with caramel dots on the inner layer. The central disk is red. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 14 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has a delicate scent that smells like old books, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also particularly attractive to insects.
