Brown Spiral Moss

This brown moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainforests.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and can spread and grow quickly, and is very light; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald spiral capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release millions of spores.
