Coppervine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters) and growing as high as 185 feet (56.4 meters).

It takes 3 years for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 5 inches (13 cm) and are rough and gnarled.

The broad, flat, leathery leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) in length. They are a shade of copper that gradient shifts to gentle orange at the top, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a thick sheet of average bold blue flowers.
