Copper

This big caudiciform grows up to 89 feet (27.1 meters) tall. The perforated stem is orange-yellow, and is covered in lots of rigid black spines. It has a straight, round, dark brown trunk atop a thick, gnarled stilted platform of smooth, exposed roots. The branches are stocky and moss green and are tall, rigid and upright.

The tattered-edged, wide leaves are solid brilliant green with purple zig-zags. They are resistant, and take little effort to detach.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with copper petals that gradient shift to aquamarine on the outer edge. The central disk is magenta grows at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like varnish.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the crimson flesh is slimy, and the black sap is thin.
