Crimsonvine

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 30 feet (9.1 meters) and growing as high as 140 feet (42.7 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 4 years for the florescent green and cream stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The very narrow and elongated, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are a shade of red that gradient shifts to red at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the vine produces copious amounts of tiny indigo flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of large fruits.
