Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In bogs.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is very delicate; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release millions of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
