Crimsongrass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large, red grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The pleated stalks grow in thick clumps that are durable and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, blue spikelet.
During the early summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of giant grains.
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
It is suitable for making strong rope
