Crimson Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This big leaf succulent grows up to 89 feet (27.1 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is lime green and moss green, and is covered in lots of rigid crimson spines. The finger-like leaves are solid brown or cream, with sky blue zig-zags. Small amounts of them grow on very thick, brown branches that are short stubs. The leaves are rigid, and take some effort to detach.

It is steady-growing, taking 15 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are either drab blue or yellow, with a yellow center, grow at the top, reappearing after 6 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is made up of 8 petals in raised layers. It has a soft scent that smells like a man.

The leaf succulent's skin is delicate, the caramel flesh is rough, and the light brown sap is thin.


It has impressive regenerative properties.
