Aquamarinefern

Shrub type: Deciduous (Stores water in its stem)

This giant shrub grows up to 15 feet (4.6 meters) tall and lives for around 88 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has dozens of long and flexible, straight stems covered in rough, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with very large amounts of tiny, thin, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are yellow and olive, robust and smooth.

It produces a thick sheet of giant, aquamarine flowers with long, tapering petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are hardy and have a weak scent that smells like rainy days. In early winter it forms largewhite, tough-shelled seeds.

It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
