Graygrass
Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This large, gray grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, caramel flower.
During the mid-summer, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
