Bluebell

Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its hazel stems grow in bunches of 7 and are wispy with a curved tip, and the huge, lime green leaves are circular with tattered edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

A single large flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with solid white petals and a vivid blue central disk. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. They detach easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like freshly baked bread, and it has lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind.

It is suitable for making paper
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is possible to grow it from cuttings.
