Copper

This short flower grows up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. Its orange stem is wispy, and the large, grey or green leaves are grey on the underside and are stiff, pointed with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Lots of giant flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 13 cm (5.1 inches) wide, with petals that are either copper or cream, with a yellow center. The flower head is largely flat with 4 tightly layered narrow petals. They fall easily.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like a woman, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by insects , but is also visited by a small species of bird.
