Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This big vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 472 feet (143.9 meters) and growing as high as 129 feet (39.3 meters).

It takes 11 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 9 inches (23 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The stiff, pointed, fuzzy leaves reach up to 2.4 feet (74 cm) in length. They are sky blue on the sides and vivid purple at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of giant white flowers, and during the early winter, after flowering, it produces plenty of large seed pods.

It is often home to a particular bird species.
It can flourish even in standing water.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
