Copperbell

This average-sized caudiciform grows up to 34 feet (10.4 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is orange, and is covered in brittle bronze spines. It has a wonky, very thick, yellow trunk atop a wide clump of cracked, exposed roots. The branches are slender and gray and trail down towards the ground.

The tattered-edged, slender, pointed leaves are red on the sides and copper at the center. They are flimsy, but take little effort to detach.

It is fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with gold petals that gradient shift to azure on the outer edge. The central disk is indigo grows at the top, reappearing once every 9 years. The flower head is shaped like a heart with 37 tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like warm cookies.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the black flesh is rough, and the hazel sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.
