Coppervine

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 27 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many narrow, straight stems covered in very thick, silky, brown bark, and the wood inside is mahogany-coloured.

The branches are long and thick with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of giant, slender, pointed, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are either copper, or green with violet dots, frail and clammy.

In early spring it produces hundreds of giant, aquamarine flowers with asymmetrical petals with a tube-like floral cup. They detach easily and have a faint scent that smells like rotten meat.

It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
