Caramel Moss

This caramel moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In heathlands, On trees, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is average-sized, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is extremely light.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
