Golden Pebble Succulent

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This short leaf succulent grows up to 12 feet (3.7 meters) tall. The slender, pointed stem is caramel, and is covered in dozens of flexible gold spines. The pebble-like leaves are generally peach. Copious amounts of them grow on thick, gnarled, dark brown and moss green branches that trail down towards the ground. The leaves are sturdy, but detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with gold petals and a yellow center grow at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is made up of several petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight star. It has an overpowering scent that smells like grass cuttings.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the cyan flesh is leathery, and the cream sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is often home to a particular bird species.
It releases hallucinogenic smoke when burned.
