Creamtail Grass

Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This modest-sized, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The wispy stalks grow in extensive patches that are durable and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, cream tail.

During the early winter, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of giant grains.

It is suitable for making paper
It is slightly resistant to fire damage.
The sap causes severe allergic reactions.
