Amberbloom

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.8 feet (53 cm) tall. Its gold or amber stem is wispy, and the large, moss green leaves are very thin with jagged edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

Several small flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide, with solid lime petals decorated with amber dots and a light grey central disk. The flower head is made up of handfuls of petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight heart. They fall easily.

It has a powerful scent that smells like grass cuttings, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to bees.
